Whether these fill you with nostalgia or

we invite you to experience
the entertainment of Nintendo,
which continues even to this day.

Use coins to experience the interactive exhibits

Digital coins, which can be used only inside the museum,
are required to experience the interactive exhibits.

  • Each visitor will be granted 10 coins.

  • The number of coins required varies depending on the interactive exhibit.

  • Visitors will not be able to experience all the interactive exhibits with 10 coins.

Experience the Beginning

In this workshop,
visitors can make their own Hanafuda playing cards,
the origin of Nintendo's founding,
and play with them while getting to know the rules.

*This experience requires a reservation on the day of your visit and a separate fee.

Craft Room: Let's Make Hanafuda!

Using a specially made kit, visitors will get to make their own Hanafuda playing cards. Select the month with your favorite pattern out of the 12 months, and then color, fold, and paste together the 4 Hanafuda playing cards. Visitors can take home the Hanafuda playing cards they’ve made.

*This experience is for groups of two.

Visitors can play Hanafuda while the rules are explained. Based on "hana-awase," one of the most popular versions of Hanafuda, this Hanafuda experience uses image recognition and projection technology and allows even first-timers to play easily.

Shigureden SP

Use a dedicated smart device to read Tanka poems. Search the floor for a card containing the second half of a poem, and then hold up the smart device to collect the card. Points are awarded based on how fast you collect the cards. Up to 20 people can play simultaneously.

*A dedicated smart device will be provided for this experience.
*Shoes with points, such as high heels, and shoes with metal are not allowed.
*Visitors under a certain height, such as small children, may experience difficulty participating in this interactive exhibit. We recommend that they participate with a parent or guardian.
*Visitors who don't understand Japanese can play by matching the pictures.

Zapper & Scope SP

Zapper & Scope SP

Choose between the Zapper, which is easy to fire rapidly, or the Super Scope, which is easy to aim. Then take aim at enemies such as Goombas, Koopa Troopas, and Chain Chomps, and compete for points. Up to 13 people can play simultaneously.

*One player per booth. You may accompany your child in the same booth, but you cannot play with the Zapper and Super Scope simultaneously.

Ultra Machine SP

Ultra Machine SP

This is a reproduction of the original Ultra Machine, a pitching machine made for indoor use, released in 1968. Use the bat to hit balls pitched one after another, including fastballs and curve balls. The space is designed to look like a room from back in the day. So what happens if you hit the ball into the furniture or some of the other items in the room? A variety of rooms are available.

*One player per room. You may accompany your child in the same room, but two people cannot play simultaneously.

Ultra Hand SP

Ultra Hand SP

When using the Ultra Hand, the arm extends when the grip is closed. Grab the ball as it moves along the lane, hold it tight, and then put it in the pipe. What you will see varies depending on the size of the ball and which pipe you drop the ball into.

*Visitors under a certain height, such as small children, may experience difficulty participating in this interactive exhibit. We recommend that they participate with a parent or guardian.

Love Tester SP

The Love Tester measures the Love Level of two people holding hands. Take on various tests to raise your Love Level even higher. The bond between two people will be tested!

Game & Watch SP

The once pocket-sized Game & Watch has been remade on a massive screen. Use your own shadow projected onto the screen to play. There are two games available: Ball—the very first Game & Watch game ever released—and Manhole.

Nintendo Classics

Play Nintendo titles, with a focus on games released on Nintendo Entertainment System, Super Nintendo Entertainment System, and Nintendo 64 hardware. The controllers are just like the controllers from back in the day. Play with two players in titles that support multiplayer.

*These titles are currently available on Nintendo Switch Online.
*Each play session lasts five to seven minutes.
*The two-player modes requires one coin from either of the players.

The big controllers take two people to operate. Even though the controllers are the same shape, the increased size makes for a whole new play experience. Both players will need to be perfectly in sync.

  • A free Nintendo Account is required to make a reservation.
  • Tickets are sold via a randomly selected drawing.
  • Drawing results will be sent out via email, or you can check the Home page of the ticketing website.
  • If you are selected, you will be asked to complete your purchase. Only credit cards can be used to pay for tickets.
  • Please make a reservation in the name of the person visiting the museum. We will check your identification on the day of your visit.
  • Visits to the workshop require same-day reservations. A separate fee is required to participate.
