Enjoying
the Interactive Exhibits

Each visitor's play ticket is preloaded with 10 coins.
  • Digital coins, which can be used only inside the museum, are required to experience the interactive exhibits.
  • Each visitor's play ticket is loaded with 10 coins upon entering the museum.
  • Visitors may experience the interactive exhibits as much as those 10 coins allow. Consider which exhibits you want to try and the number of coins required, and then experience the interactive exhibits of your choice. Please note that you cannot purchase additional coins.
  • You may choose to participate in different interactive exhibits once or experience the same interactive exhibit multiple times.

*Each experience requires coins. When you use coins, the amount of coins remaining is shown on the interactive exhibit's display.

*The digital coins loaded on your play ticket are only valid on the day of your visit.

*1 The two-player mode for Nintendo Classics requires one coin from either of the players.

*Preschoolers aged 3 or above will be given a special experience card by an attendant at the security gate. Preschoolers participating in interactive exhibits must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. If a parent or guardian experiences an interactive exhibit together with their child, even if it's just to accompany them, the specified number of coins for the experience will be deducted from the parent or guardian's play ticket. Thank you for understanding.

*People under a certain height, such as small children, may have trouble experiencing the exhibits as intended. This may vary depending on the interactive exhibit, so please speak to a nearby attendant for assistance.

Accepted Forms of Payment

In addition to cash, various credit cards, prepaid transit cards, and QR code payments are also accepted as forms of payment in the museum, including in the café and the shop.

Free Coin Lockers

  • Free coin lockers are available in front of the security gate. A 100-yen coin must be inserted at the time of use but will be returned to you at the end of use. The locker room is equipped with a change machine, which you may use if necessary.
  • Please leave large items that do not fit in the coin lockers in the large-luggage area.
  • There is a limited number of lockers available, so please arrive with as little luggage as possible.
  • Lockers may be used for the duration of your visit. Items left in lockers after the museum has closed will go to a lost and found.

Free Wi-Fi

Free Wi-Fi is available for use inside the museum. Visitors can use the Wi-Fi continuously for 60 minutes on a single connection. For more details, refer to the guidance posted in the museum.
