To mark the 40th anniversary of The Legend of Zelda, Nintendo Museum is launching special promotions listed below.

Special Play Ticket Design
Starting Wednesday, September 9, 2026, the Nintendo Museum play ticket will introduce a special, limited The Legend of Zelda 40th Anniversary design, available for approximately one year.
During this period, visitors to the Nintendo Museum can choose between two play-ticket designs:
40th Anniversary
- The Legend of Zelda 40th Anniversary
- Your Mii
Notes
- By default, all play tickets will use the special The Legend of Zelda 40th Anniversary design. If you have already set your play ticket to the Mii design but would like to switch to The Legend of Zelda 40th Anniversary design, please visit the Nintendo Museum ticketing website and update your settings before your visit.

If a guest in your party other than the one who made the reservation wishes to use their Mii for their play ticket, their ticket must first be assigned to them.

Nintendo Museum Official Book
Beginning Thursday, November 5, the Nintendo Museum Official Book Vol.02 will be available for purchase at the Art Gallery located on the 2nd floor of Exhibition Building 1. This exclusive publication includes special features on the 40th anniversary of The Legend of Zelda, as well as highlights from the Nintendo Museum. We encourage visitors to stop by.
- The price is 1,980 yen (tax included).
- Available in two versions: Japanese and English.
Nintendo Museum Official Book Vol.01 will also remain available for purchase.
*Each customer may purchase only one item—either the Japanese or the English version.

The Legend of Zelda 40th Anniversary
History Board
A special history board marking the 40th anniversary of The Legend of Zelda is now on display for a limited time in the hallway just outside the exhibition area on the 1st floor of Exhibition Building 1. By scanning illustrations from past titles in the series using the camera in the Nintendo Today! smart device app, you can revisit game scenes and music and see how old you were when each game was released.*
*Age is calculated based on the information registered to your Nintendo Account.
